WhatsApp is already on iGEO. To improve communication between you and your clients, we have developed this functionality, which allows you to send a message to the client you need.
To explain this functionality, we will remind you what WhatsApp Web is and then how we have connected it with iGEO.
What is WhatsApp Web?
As you know well, it is an extension of your WhatsApp account for phone to use on a PC.
To do this, you can have it installed on your PC or simply open it in the browser you use. This way, you can send and receive messages from your contacts.

How is WhatsApp used in iGEO?
The first thing we need to do is configure two essential aspects.

Open two tabs in your browser. In one, open iGEO, and in the other, open WhatsApp Web.

Once this configuration is done, we need to access a work order that is in the “Pending execution” state.
From the record itself, in the “Client/site data” section, we will find the green “Send WhatsApp” button.
Step 4:
By clicking here, the text of the WhatsApp that we are going to send will appear on the screen, where it is defined:
- Date and time.
- The service we are going to perform.
- The business line.
We understand that these are the essential aspects, but if you want to modify it, you can do it and customize the WhatsApp to your liking.
Once we have the text fully completed, we will click on “Send message via WhatsApp”.
Step 5:
A new tab will automatically open in the browser and load the conversation of the contact to whom we sent the message.
If you already had that contact saved on your device, the conversation will open, and if not, a new conversation will open without the saved contact.
In both cases, the message that we have entered in iGEO will appear.
Now we just have to confirm that the message is correct, and send it from WhatsApp Web. This way, the message will reach our recipient instantly.
When returning to iGEO, we will find the option to verify that the message has been sent by clicking the next button.
So easy and simple, you can send a WhatsApp to whoever you need at any time.
