The QUORUM 1 winning feature is now available in iGEO!

You can now sync work orders and events from iGEO Planning with Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook.

Daily planning is one of the core pillars of any pest control, environmental health or service company.
That’s why having an up-to-date calendar that keeps all teams aligned is essential.

iGEO already handled planning efficiently within the platform.
However, the industry demanded one more step: integrating that planning with the calendars used daily, such as Google and Outlook.

We listened… and now it’s a reality.

iGEO now allows you to connect work orders (WOs) and Planning events with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, syncing information both ways.

How to activate synchronization

Log in to iGEO and access your employee profile* from either the Office Portal or the Technician Portal.

From the Office Portal, under the “Corporate information” tab, you will find two new buttons: “Enable Google Sync” and “Enable Microsoft Sync”.

From the Technician Portal, on the home page, open the menu (three-line icon) and click on the new “Profile” section. You will access a summary of your employee profile, along with the buttons to activate calendar synchronization.

When you activate synchronization, iGEO will generate a sync URL. At that moment, you will already be able to see your Google and Outlook calendar events inside iGEO Planning. This synchronization works in real time, with a delay of 0 to 5 minutes.

To display Planning events and WOs in your external calendars, you need one additional step: Click on “View synchronisation URL” to copy or regenerate the synchronization URL.

Synchronization is only linked to the user’s main calendar It is not possible to choose a different calendar.

If you want to view other employees’ calendars, you must subscribe to them individually using their sync URLs.

The update speed for events and work orders depends on external factors such as: connection quality, calendar size or number of linked calendars.

iGEO guarantees correct data delivery, but final updates depend on Google and Microsoft processing times. In some cases, delays may occur up to 24 hours.

How to disable synchronization

To stop syncing, go to your employee profile and click: “Disable Google Sync” or “Disable Microsoft Sync”.

After that, iGEO events will no longer appear in your external calendar
and external calendar events will no longer appear in iGEO.

If a user is deactivated or marked as inactive, iGEO automatically cancels synchronization between Planning and external calendars.
