As we presented at Expocida Iberia 2024, ChatGPT is now part of iGEO.
Working with Artificial Intelligence is not new in iGEO, as this technology has been present in our software since the presentation of the Route Optimizer some years ago.
But it is true that now we have gone one step further and we want you to have the possibility of accessing ChatGPT directly from iGEO. This integration will allow you to make as many queries as you need and obtain the information instantly without having to leave iGEO.
Where is this functionality located in iGEO? To access ChatGPT in iGEO, you have to enter the CRM module and in the left side menu you will find the icon that gives access to the functionality.

So that you can check this functionality with us, we want to show you how we can do it step by step.
Access iGEO
The first thing you have to do is log in to the iGEO Office Portal, with your usual username and password.
Once on the Home page, you must access the CRM module and click on the “ChatGPT” button located in the left side menu.
Work with ChatGPT
Now the ChatGPT window will appear completely blank, ready for you to make a query.
Here you can write the query as you wish.
In this example, let’s suppose we are a pest control company that is doing commercial follow-up of quotes to our potentials.
In addition, we will use the email follow-up functionality provided by iGEO to maximize all commercial tools. Since we have to do several follow-ups, we will ask ChatGPT for a text that integrates a message with certain characteristics, such as:
- An eye-catching text to attract the potential’s attention
- It is a direct message focused on what we really want
- Tell him that we are a pest control company, so that he adapts the content to our sector
- In addition, we will indicate that he indicates a couple of characteristics that provide benefit on the quality of our service.
So that you can try this example on your iGEO, we provide you with the prompt you should use in the query in ChatGPT: Create a text to send a commercial email, eye-catching but direct, for all those companies that have a budget sent by my pest control company and that we still do not have a response. Also, indicate a couple of benefits of the quality of our service so that this is a determining factor when accepting our budget.
Once we have written the text, we will send it by clicking on the green button on the right.
Now, we just have to wait for ChatGPT to provide us with the response.
After a few seconds, we get the complete response.

To continue with the example, we would copy the solution it has generated for us and prepare within the iGEO CRM our communication to the client or clients in question.
How can you optimize the use of ChatGPT in iGEO?
ChatGPT is a very sophisticated tool but there are certain aspects that we must know to optimize its use, such as:
- Ask clear and specific questions:
- Formulate clear and specific questions to obtain more precise answers.
- Avoid overly broad or ambiguous questions, as they may generate less useful responses.
- Divide complex questions:
- If you have a complex question, break it down into smaller parts and ask questions separately. This makes it easier for ChatGPT to generate more focused responses.
- Specify the desired format:
- If you expect a response in a particular format (for example, list, paragraph, key points), indicate it in your question to get results more tailored to your needs.
- Review and reformulate:
- Read and review the generated responses. If they are not accurate or do not meet your expectations, reformulate the question or use the conversation context to provide additional clarifications.
- Relevant context:
- Provide relevant context in your conversation. You can refer to previous answers or include additional information to help ChatGPT better understand your request.
- Limit generated content:
- If you need more concise answers, you can limit the number of characters generated by specifying it in the text, however, keep in mind that this could affect the coherence of the responses.
- Experiment and adjust:
- Experiment with different approaches and adjustments to find the configuration that best suits your needs. Optimization may vary depending on the type of question or task you are addressing.
