iGEO closes its international tour, strengthening its vision for the future of pest control

Over the past few months, iGEO has been present at some of the leading international events in the pest control and environmental health sector. Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Brazil have all been part of a tour that has allowed us to continue bringing our technological vision closer to companies, professionals and organizations across different markets.

More than just a calendar of events, this tour has been an opportunity to listen, share and demonstrate where the sector is heading. In each country, we have found different realities, specific challenges and very local needs. But we have also confirmed a common trend: the future of pest control will be increasingly linked to digitalization, analytics, artificial intelligence, intelligent monitoring and centralized information management.

Under our slogan “Global experience, local impact”, iGEO continues to support international expansion based on collaboration with professionals and companies in the sector. Our goal is not only to bring technology to new markets, but to understand how each country works, what each regulation requires, which operational challenges are repeated and how we can adapt our platform to deliver real value in every context.

A global vision for an increasingly connected sector

Pest control is evolving towards a more preventive, traceable and data-driven model. Heat maps, IoT sensors, GIS systems, smart traps and artificial intelligence will make it possible to detect risk patterns, anticipate incidents and improve response capacity before problems become visible infestations.

But the true value of this transformation does not lie only in having more data. It lies in being able to integrate, interpret and turn that data into useful decisions. That is why the future of the sector depends on platforms capable of connecting inspections, monitoring devices, incidents, technical actions, documentary evidence, routes, reports and analytics in a single working environment.

This evolution does not replace technical expertise. On the contrary, it strengthens it. Professionals will continue to be essential for interpreting signals, validating hotspots, defining corrective measures and ensuring service quality. The difference is that they can now do so with more information, better visualizations, greater traceability and tools that allow them to act faster, more accurately and more efficiently.

Artificial intelligence as a natural part of this evolution

At iGEO, artificial intelligence is not seen as a distant promise, but as a natural evolution of the platform. Its role will be to help companies reduce manual work, improve technical quality, optimize resources and make decisions based on real operational data.

We are already working on different AI lines applied to pest control: intelligent route optimization, voice assistance for technicians, data analysis from IoT devices, automatic report generation, assistants for technical directors, commercial and administrative agents, iGEO Copilot and help tools to make the platform easier to use.

The goal is clear: technology should work for companies, not the other way around. That is why, at iGEO, we integrate these capabilities within the ERP itself, so teams can use them in a simple, connected way that is aligned with their real processes.

A key example is intelligent route planning. iGEO’s new generation of route calculation is not based only on distance, but also on sector-specific criteria: available technicians, priorities, areas, service types, traffic, workload and operational logic. This helps reduce unnecessary travel, improve punctuality, allocate resources more effectively and increase daily productivity.

We are also moving towards an ecosystem where the technician’s voice can be transformed directly into structured data within iGEO, reducing recording times, avoiding manual errors and improving the quality of the information collected in the field.

Listening to each market to build a stronger platform

One of the most valuable lessons from this international tour has been confirming that technological innovation only makes sense when it responds to real needs. Each market has its own challenges: different regulations, different levels of digitalization, specific ways of working and its own commercial or operational priorities.

That is why active listening is a fundamental part of our expansion. Every conversation with customers, partners, associations and professionals in the sector helps us continue evolving iGEO into an increasingly complete, flexible platform, ready to support companies of different sizes and countries.

Our presence in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Brazil reinforces this commitment: to keep growing alongside the sector, to collaborate with those who know it from the inside, and to adapt technology to the reality of each market.

The future of pest control is already being built

Digitalization, AI, IoT and analytics are not isolated concepts. They are part of the same transformation: the evolution towards more efficient, preventive, auditable and connected companies.

At iGEO, we believe that the future of pest control will be defined by the ability to integrate people, data, devices, processes and decisions into a single platform. And that is exactly the direction we are working towards.

We close this international tour with a clear idea: the sector is ready to take a new step forward. And at iGEO, we want to continue being the technology partner that helps pest control and environmental health companies move towards that future with a global, specialized solution adapted to each local reality.

Global experience, local impact.n conceptos aislados.

Experiencia global, impacto local.
